The infamous Billboard Music Awards of 2019 will be held at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on May 1, 2019. The award ceremony will be hosted by the first ever American Idol winner and pop superstar, Kelly Clarkson. The show will be air live on NBC at 8 p.m. ET.

American rapper Cardi B, 26, leads all nominees at the 2019 Billboard Music Awards. Cardi B known for her songs such as “I Like It”, “Please Me”, “Be Careful” is being nominated 21 times within 18 categories. In three major categories top Hot 100 song, top selling song, and top collaboration Cardi will be competing against herself.

Some other top nominees include Drake, Ariana Grande, Post Malone, Travis Scott, Dua Lipa, and XXXTentacion. XXXTentacion was and American rapper, singer and songwriter who unfortunately died at the age of 20 on June 18, 2018, Deerfield Beach, FL after being shot.
