Break Out the Dye

Almost everyone has tie-dyed a white shirt at one point in their life. However, this print that was largely popular during the ’60s is making its way back onto runways for spring/summer collections. Designer’s such as Stella McCartney, Prabal Gurung, R13, and Prada have all included the print in their upcoming lines.

Not only are clothes being dyed but phone cases, shoes, bags and just about anything you could possibly imagine. Below is an image of Vans from Nordstroms currently selling at $49.95-$59.95.

Luckily for us, this print can be made at home as you adventure with new colors and ways of placing the rubber bands to get the shirt you envisioned. This can become a very fun outdoor activity to do during the summer by yourself or with friends. If you’re feeling less adventurous and don’t want to risk getting dye stuck on your fingers for a few days tie-dye is also available in stores. Stores such as Urban Outfitters, Forever 21, Topshop, Billabong, Calvin Klein, and many others can be seen with an assortment of the latest trend.
