As spring/summer fashion starts popping up everywhere we are now seeing a large amount being based off 80’s trends, such as neon. This trend is hard to miss with colors that look like they are straight out of a highlighter package and are turning heads. As I walked into Zara last week I noticed a section that was mainly all black and white but had a rack with all neon lime green clothing.

Will this trend last? After seeing people like Kylie Jenner who was one of the first people to bring neon to my attention. Pictured below is Jordyn Woods (Kylie’s ex best friend), Kylie Jenner and her daughter Stormi whom she shares with rapper Travis Scott. As you can see, each of them including one-year-old Stormi is wearing matching neon green swimwear.

I myself gave in and bought a neon hot pink top after seeing one at a boutique. After my purchase, I couldn’t help but notice that neon is… everywhere. Everyone is so used to neutral tones and pale colors it is now giving everyone a way to stand out without looking obnoxious. We even have stars such as Kim Kardashian going as far as dying her hair neon green to match with her neon green Lamborgini.
